and the unusual conditions prevailing at present; the representatives did not press the point but a revision of the rules relating to "time cff" is under consideration.
(s) The complaint about the procedure when
members of the Police Force report sick appears to be related to the fear that those given sick leave will have such leave deducted later from their lon leave. (see (c) above).
(1) The Commissioner has agreed to the
establishment of a Welfare Committee, elected by members of the Force, which will have direct access to him on all matters affecting the welfare of the Force generally.
(k) The Commissioner is preparing a
disciplinary code on the lines of one which has beer adopted successfully in Hingapore.
